Life hacks: transforming adversity into opportunity

Updated: Oct 6, 2023

Whenever there is a discussion about pain and its impact on our lives, my first question, logically, is, "How much do we love ourselves in order to understand our pain and learn its lessons?"

My personal experience with pain has taught me how to express myself and my emotions, but do it in a respectful manner, without intentionally hurting others. Pain has also taught me how to stand up for myself, even if this path is often misunderstood by others and sometimes considered, ironically, offensive. Pain showed me that sometimes speaking up the truth may hurt both you (with the consequences) and others, but it would be far more painful if that truth is not expressed at all. Sometimes, people may criticise you for standing up for yourself, they may judge your "colours", your words, your vibes, but this is always inspired by fear, so it should never affect your path. If you choose to walk your journey with love for both yourself and your life, you will have to be authentic, and this means stop fearing the truth just because it is uncomfortable; stop trying to control others because this boosts your insecurities; stop trying to be what others expect you to be unless this is your vision of who you are. In this way, you can attract authentic people... because you will be one.

Thank you Pain, my life would have never been as true, as colourful, as deep, as free, as fun and filled with love and joy without your lessons.
